spring 2009 animuuuuuuuu

Anybody else rather excited for it or am I the only one? I'm more excited for what summer has in store but this season's lineup has a couple of interesting titles.

But I think the series that I'm gonna definitely check out are Sengoku BASARA, Basquash, Pandora Hearts, K-ON, Guin Saga, Shangri-La, Tears to Tiara, and Eden of the East.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Queen's Blade, and Hatsukoi Limited are only a maybe though. Hatsukoi only because I never really liked romance comedies with an assload of girls in it 8|

This goes for Queen's Blade as well. The amount of boobage is a turn off but since some fags on /u/ think this might be goggle worthy or have actual yuri later on, I might as well try it...when I feel like it. idk when I was watching the PVs I was just so turned off by the boobs and skimpy outfits. You might as well make it hentai if you're going to throw tentacles into the mix as well dfsfafsa ಠ_ಠ

durr idk, I've always hated harem type crap and just a shitton of cliche anime girls with no depth orz Only reason I'm checking out Hatsukoi is for Minako Kotobuki who's playing Rika :'B

MINAKO'S MOE VOICE MAKES HER ONE OF MY FAVORITE SEIYUU FFFFFF Can you believe she's still 17 too? q____q ahhhhhhhhh

But anyways, I'm quite excited for the anime I've listed.

Sengoku because I've played the game before and fffff I love the historical plotline ahaha DATEEEEEEEE<333333 Production I.G behind the animation is also pretty goddamn awesome too.

Basquash totally looks pretty fucking awesome too. I mean, MECHAS PLAYING BASKETBALL? It sounds totally ridiculous but looking at the PVs, holy crap I think I'm in love with this series already. I mean, the protagonist, Dan, is just so awesome. I love my hotblooded young men<3 But really, for some reason it just kinda reminds me of some strange mix of Gurren Lagann, Rideback, and Michiko to Hatchin in a way 8| Not that that's a bad thing. All of those shows were pretty damn awesome too. FFFFFFfffffffff can't waitttttt. I also wanna try cosplaying as Dan too ahahaha I mean, at least he's tan like me 8'(

I'm only wary of Pandora Hearts because the animation is being done by Xebec. I hate that studio so much. Idk, I just don't like how their quality of production orz Just ughhhhhh. But aside from that, fffffffffff PANDORA HEARTS. It's like...Alice in Wonderland but not! D'8 And you guys know how much I love that theme QuQ Ahaha I'm also ditching cosplaying as Emil from ToS2 this year to cosplay as Oz 8'DDd

K-ON. idk what to say lol But...MIO LOOKS LIKE YOMI AND TSUMUGI LOOKS LIKE A FEMALE VERSION OF UK DSFOJIDFSIOJFDSOJIFSDOIJFDS;;; Minako is going to be playing Tsumugi as well FFFFFFFF I just have to watch it for that moe voice orz

The PVs for Guin Saga and Shangri-La looked really fucking epic too. Lots of potential with these series, can't wait. But sdfasfsdafwe Gonzo's behind Shangri-La. We all know how shitty they end series too 8'| *sigh* But with Uematsu Nobuo behind the music for Guin Saga, holycrapmustsee.

Tears to Tiara. Pretty interested in this one. I really liked Utawarerumono and the original game was done by Leaf as well. The production is gonna be handled by the same team too so I know this one will be a good one p:

AND OMG EDEN OF THE EAST. THIS SERIES. THIS SERIES. MY HYPE LEVELS FOR SPRING ANIMU MOSTLY GOES TO THIS SERIES. FFFFFFFFF. Another Production I.G series this spring. This one's an original and boy does it look interesting. I'm really loving what I've watched in the PV and the music was really good too. Reading the plot alone was just enough to spark my interest too. AAAHHHHHHHHH. Really love the cute character designs and judging from the PV, I know I'm really gonna love the ED song too orz /loops the PV over and over again

Pffffffff, but speaking of getting giddy over animu, I've added another series to add to my list for summer's lineup. Totally gonna be watching Sea Story. Minako's gonna be playing Kanon in this one too and from the PV, I think this voice is the cutest of them all ffffff It's also gonna be directed by Junichi Sato who directed Kaleido Star and Princess Tutu. HOOOOOOLLLYYYYYY CRAAAAPPPP. MUST WATCH. MUST WATCH. Good lord that man is amazing /sobs
