Here's one to my sanity!

And I thought I've already lost it when I jumped on board the FagTown train!

But I guess this one takes the cake!

Yesterday I got an email. Another commission, oh yay! But guess what sets this one apart?

It's my first and formal business commission. Isn't that fucking insane? I'm not that awesome of an artist nor am I popular or have been taking commissions for that long; so I'm actually quite amazed at this offer. But this isn't where you should call me crazy just yet.

So this guy is part of a school magazine in Japan in hopes to help teach the students English in a more student-orientated way instead of from textbooks that don't make sense. At this point, I was actually pretty interested. I always love lending a helping hand to improve things no matter how big or small. The fact that he considered me first to help him and his team out was actually quite flattering.

But yeah, to where I'll probably lose my sanity in no time. My task is simple, design twelve characters based on the types of articles the magazine covers and draw them in five different poses. Yeah, sounds pretty simple but when you process it through, that's 60 images. Oh and full body too. Also in TWEWY style. The deadline is by the end of July.

HEHEHEHE. Can't you just imagine me going crazy after awhile? Cos I know Star and Assriel can ahahaha They say I'm crazy to actually take up this offer. I even have to decrease my productivity on FagTown for this but whatever, the pay is way better than what I get on that site anyway >__>

And yes, I'm killing myself because of the money. $2.1k. How could I say no to that? Haha greed is so horrible, isn't it? But man, it's not like everyday you get an offer like this. Couldn't pass it up. Even though Ass said I'm just whoring myself out with cheap prices and I'm still just gonna be underpaid..money, bro. Fueling my greed and when you flash anything over double figures, I'ma look your way ;D

Seriously, $2.1k for pretty much drawing whatever you want? Pretty fucking sweet to me. Of course, it's gonna take me all the time I need to get this done orz But it's not like it's all that bad though *being optimistic* Just gotta pace myself. Also had to notify my other commissioners to tell them it's probably gonna take awhile to get around to their requests because of this. Glad that they're understanding~

I really hope I don't get that burnt out while doing this though. Hmm..anybody else think I'm fucking crazy? y/y?

idk guys, I think he's cute. His hat has a little triforce badge at the edge of the bill. Also sporting a headset to talk to his CS and WoW buddies on Vent. Standard old school video game shirt. I was debating between Space Invaders and Mario, but I just went with the latter since shrooms are easier to draw. Pacman gloves~ And two fanny packs to store his gaming necessities. Oh and to top it off with sum glasses for that Persona 4nerdy look.

Yeah, I haven't drawn in this style since my TWEWY entry last year LOL But by the time I'm done with this project, I'll probably be a master at it rofl HE NEEDS TO BE MORE ANOREXIC Y/Y?

But let's look at it this way, at least this experience will give me a taste of how it's like if I actually take art up as my profession. And more chances to get my art noticed! So cool Q___Q
