Mind equals Blown

Well, after I watched Kuroshitsuji episode 3(which was hella LOL btw), I watched the first episode of Michiko to Hatchin. Totally turned my "LOLOLOL" mood to a "Oh crap.. O_O" mood. Seriously, the first episode was so mindblowingly/ridiculously awesome. I think I'm the only one who really likes how the first episode was done so far too OTL I like the Latino feel to this series so far. It's something new. It's hard to tell where this series will go but the first episode already got me really interested.

A lot of reviews so far have had mixed feelings. People thought it was too over-the-top with the abuse to the point it wasn't even believable and the direction/script was ridiculous. But at least with the abuse, it built up and got more violent. To me, it felt a bit more believable. Child abuse does happen everyday and kids die from abuse too. I think they addressed the situation well. However, with how fast the episode went, you can't blame people for thinking it's just really extreme. You can be a total jackass and make fun of Hana's outrageous situation in the beginning. But it's a bit hard to take light of the situation when you hear reports of child abuse almost everyday, at least for me anyway.

I dunno, I really felt bad for Hana and I wanted to like punch her foster family in the face. At least she stood up for herself towards the end of the episode. But for the most part, I just really wanted to hug her >A< She's such a strong little girl for enduring so much OTL

Another beef people had was Hana's seiyuu, Suzuka Ohgo. She isn't bad at all but I guess people just wanted Hana to sound like one of those stereotypical high pitched lolis. Honestly, I love how she plays Hana because she sounds older than she is. It's got that nice appeal to it. Everybody's just hardcore lolicons LOL But yeah, I think her voice fits really well. Hana comes off as a mature young girl so naturally, I'd go with a deeper voice to project that.

But that's enough about Hana. Am I the only one who thinks Michiko is hot? o_o; For some reason, she's growing onto me. At first I was like, "eh, she's not my type." But after seeing how totally badass she was..HOLY CRAP O_O Hotness. Strong bold women, gotta love 'em 8)

Also, the ED song is growing on me too D;
