Loli complex?

Uh..just watched ep 1 of Kyou no 5-2. I've got mixed feelings about the anime though D:

It's probably cos I really enjoyed the OVA and the manga. I also really don't like Xebec's way of handling their series animation-wise D: Especially after what they did to Negima auuuuuu >A>;

Um..I'm alright with most of the voice cast. It would've been nice if they kept the OVA cast, but that's ok. However the only voice that I need some getting used to is Kazumi's who's played by Mako. She's got that cute quiet voice but I really liked Mamiko Noto's soft monotone voice in the OVA. It was just a lot more...moe *A* But oh well~

I'll admit, the art style is cuter than the OVA. But I kinda liked the OVA's style a little more because it made me feel less of a pedo since they didn't look completely loli OTL Also, the colors were more crisp and vibrant rather than pastely like the TV series. There were times in the TV version where the facial expressions looked really...awkward D:

The TV version kinda overdid it with the comedic style changes too. Some of them weren't necessary. But nonetheless, they were still pretty lulzy xD;

I'm also pretty disappointed there were no panty shots where there should've been. As much as I dislike fanservice, this series wouldn't be as funny with out it D'8

So what positive things I can say about the TV series? Not a lot so far since it's only the first episode D: But Megumi and Chika are still pretty damn cute >o>

I can't wait until the 2nd episode though >w> I wanna see how they handle the shed scene ROFL

I also really liked how the ED was Secret Base! ;AAAAAA; My favorite song by ZONE! I teared up a little because it's been awhile since I've heard that song and it fits pretty damn well with the series too OTL GJ with that move.

However, I would still liked to end this with, "SCREW YOU XEBEC."
